Metonymy Press is based in Tio’tia:ke (Montreal), unceded Kanien’kehá:ka (Mohawk) territory. We publish literary fiction and nonfiction by emerging writers. We try to reduce barriers to publishing for authors whose perspectives are underrepresented in order to produce quality materials relevant to queer, feminist, and social justice communities. We really want to keep gay book lovers satisfied.

Monster House Publishing, a children's publishing company located in Fredericton, New Brunswick, believes that literacy and the arts create a bond of understanding between different viewpoints in the world - we embody diversity and inclusion through our storytelling. Each title aims to promote Atlantic talent while carrying a positive lesson within the pages. By providing educational content in an entertaining and literary manner, Monster House aims to aid the improvement of literacy rates provincially, nationally, and globally and to encourage the lifelong love of reading. By publishing a diverse range of authors and types of stories, Monster House aims to encourage culturally sensitive exchange, support Truth and Reconciliation, and encourage children to be curious and kind.

Today, over 30 books on a diverse range of subjects are available to help inform the work of the municipal council and administration, as well as individuals and organizations interested in governance and the future prospects for their communities.

NeWest publishes literary fiction, non-fiction, drama, mystery, and poetry, with a special emphasis on authors writing from a western Canadian perspective. Series include: The Nunatak First Fiction Series, the Writer as Critic Series, the Prairie Play Series and the Landmark Edition Series. Domestic & US Distribution: LitDistCo. Nine Ten publishes books, booklets and zines by Canadian authors about how to make things and how things are made, including explorations of where raw materials come from and tales from those who are involved in their production.
