The Association of Canadian Publishers (ACP) invites proposals from qualified researchers or firms to conduct a national study examining the Canadian higher education publishing market.
The project will explore the relationship between course adoptions and book sales, investigate trends contributing to declining revenues and high return rates, and assess how new content-delivery models—such as digital course materials and open educational resources—are affecting Canadian publishers.
Proposals are due by November 7, 2025, with the final report expected by March 31, 2026. The full RFP is linked below.
