The CISP Press has a mandate to publish about publishing, to engage in innovative publishing practice, and to explore innovation products and services. CISP Press offers a list of titles that includes work by Robert Bringhurst, Andrew Wilson, Laura Millar, and others, as well as a comprehensive publishing services for journals.

The Cloudscape Comics Society is a graphic novel publisher centered in Metro Vancouver. Since our founding in 2007, Cloudscape has published over 25 graphic novels and anthologies. Cloudscape is also an artist collective, made up of over 100 members of the comics community within BC. As a registered non-profit organization, proceeds from the sales of Cloudscape books go towards providing developing artists with free drawing classes, studio space, a lending library, and a small printing center, as well as delivering public events, talks, demonstrations and even public art, and of course, publishing more books!

CMU Press is a publisher, since 1974, of literary, scholarly, reference, and general interest books at Canadian Mennonite University. Historically, areas of specialization have been Mennonite studies and theology. Tucked away on Toronto's bpNichol Lane, Coach House has been printing and publishing high-quality editions of innovative poetry, fiction, drama and nonfiction since 1965. Crow Cottage is converting and publishing popular Canadian children's picture books to ebooks. Their ebooks are enhanced with read-aloud narration, SFX, music, and other interactive features.

Demeter Press is the first book publisher focused specifically on the topic of mothering/motherhood and is a peer-reviewed scholarly press. The press is named in honour of the Goddess Demeter, herstory's most celebrated empowered and outraged mother. Demeter is a refereed, peer-reviewed press.

Founded in Toronto in 2021, Double Dagger Books publishes military and security-focused works of fiction and non-fiction for a general audience.
