Canadian book publishers respond to attack on Charlie Hebdo

Members of the Association of Canadian Publishers are profoundly shocked and saddened by today’s attack at the office of Charlie Hebdo in Paris.

“We mourn those who lost their lives in this assault on freedom of expression,” said ACP President Erin Creasey. “Publishers in Canada, like our colleagues around the world, will honour the memory of the victims with a reinforced commitment to defend and preserve this most essential freedom.”
