|Annual General Meeting|
2014 AGM will take place on June 11-13, 2014 at Delta St John's Hotel and Conference Centre in St. John's, NL.
Our Professional Development Day (June 11) is once again programmed in collaboration with the Literary Press Group and will include seminars and panel discussions on a wide range of current publishing issues. An informative and engaging PD Day will be followed by a day of committee meetings (June 12) and a plenary session (June 13).
The ACP banquet will be held at Bianca’s Restaurant, located at 171 Water Street, on Thursday, June 12. A cocktail reception will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m.
At this year’s banquet, ACP will honour Susan Renouf and Shelagh Rogers. Susan, a tireless veteran of Canadian publishing and champion of our industry, is a past president of the ACP and also chaired the inaugural board of eBound Canada. She will be receiving the ACP's President award. Shelagh Rogers will be presented with an Honourary Lifetime Membership, in recognition of her unfailing support of Canadian books and Canadian authors, and particularly for the return of Canadian books to CBC weekly programming on The Next Chapter.
